Healthy equipment, healthy pool
Most green pools and cloudy water problems start at the equipment pad. A pump that's lost prime, a filter that hasn't been cleaned in a year or a chlorinator cell coated in scale will undo every chemical you add.
Dahkoda checks the whole system, fixes what can be fixed on the spot and tells you honestly when something is worth replacing rather than patching. Anything that needs a licensed electrician or plumber, we'll tell you straight and point you in the right direction.
What we look after
- Pumps. Priming problems, noisy bearings, leaking seals, lids and o-rings, timers and run times.
- Filters. Sand, glass and cartridge filters: backwashing, cartridge cleaning, pressure gauges, media changes and multiport valve issues.
- Salt chlorinators. Cell cleaning and inspection, output settings, salt levels and "no flow" faults.
- Pool cleaners. Suction and robotic cleaners that stop, stick or don't climb; hoses, diaphragms and set-up.
- Pad plumbing. Leaks at unions and fittings, air in the system, valves and skimmer weirs.
Common questions
Repair or replace?
We'll give you both numbers and our honest opinion. Sometimes a seal kit saves a pump for years; sometimes an old single-speed pump is costing you more in power than a new one would to buy. You decide with the facts in front of you.
Can you check the equipment during a regular service?
A quick check is part of every regular service. If something needs proper attention we'll flag it and quote it separately.
Do you supply parts?
Common wear parts like o-rings, lids, baskets and cleaner parts can usually be sourced and fitted. Larger items are quoted per job.
